AREA OF CONCENTRATION: EDUCATION
PPGEDUC RESEARCH LINES
The Graduate Program in Education has three Research Lines, which organize and conduct research projects linked to these lines.
The lines, in turn, are made up of Research Centers (CNPq), which involve the participation of professors, students and graduates of the program and professors and students of undergraduate courses, especially the Academic Education Unit, aiming at the training of new researchers.
EDUCATIONAL POLICIES, HISTORY OF EDUCATION AND (AUTO)BIOGRAPHIC RESEARCH
This line of research is dedicated to the study and construction of knowledge in the field of Education, understood at the interface of political, historical and (auto)biographical research dimensions. The lines of interest are: research related to policies for basic and higher education, curriculum, history of institutions and school culture, as well as (auto)biographical research, comprising life stories of teachers and students in Goiás.

EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES, TEACHER TRAINING AND INCLUSION
This line of research is dedicated to the investigation of educational practices, inclusion and teacher training in educational contexts. Develops research especially related to special education and inclusion; child education; teaching and learning; science teaching; basic and higher education. Education is understood in its relations with the historical, social, cultural and political contexts that guide conceptions, educational practices, educational policies and teacher training.

READING, EDUCATION AND TEACHING OF MOTHER LANGUAGE AND NATURE SCIENCES
This line of research is dedicated to investigations focused on reading practices and policies in school and non-school contexts; mother tongue teaching, natural sciences and popular education, related to basic and higher education, pedagogical practices, teacher training, curriculum and assessment; literacy and literacy (reading and writing) from a historical, sociological, pedagogical and linguistic perspective.
